Bettola Brings Italian Fare to Martin Biscuit
Bettola, a new casual Italian restaurant, opened last week at 2901 Second Ave. South, in the Martin Biscuit Building. Bettola is open for lunch from 11:00 to 2:30 and dinner 5-9 during the week and 10:00pm on Friday and Sat. The menu offers are more very robust, featuring serves true Italian-style pies — wafer-thin pizzas covered in simple-yet-robust toppings and finished in a wood-burning oven., Italian flat bread sandwiches topped with fresh mozzarella and salads.
As an example of one of the flat bread sandwiches, the Agnello is filled with roasted lamb, goat cheese, arugula, lettuce, tomato and fresh oregano. The menu also features a selection of fresh organic salads. For more information, call 731-6499.
