Redeveloped in 2003, the former Young & Vann building provides offices to several organizations that focus on regional planning.

Formerly known as the Young & Vann Building, this historic structure was purchased by Sloss Real Estate in 2002. After purchasing the 28,000 square foot building, Sloss began a $3,000,000 renovation, creating headquarters for The Regional Planning Commission of Greater Birmingham, Region 2020, Auburn Design Studio, Housing Initiative for Central Alabama, and Culturalliance/Regional Cultural Alliance of Greater Birmingham. Working together, these groups have transformed a century-old warehouse into a first-class office building now called The Center for Regional Planning and Design.
