The 118,000 square foot Ridge Park Place Building was acquired from the City of Birmingham in 1998. After being vacant for more than 11 years, the former Rust Engineering Building was renovated into a Class A office building for occupancy in 1999. Garrison Barrett served as the architect and Brasfield & Gorrie, LLC was the general contractor. One of the major landmarks in Birmingham, the building was completely renovated by Sloss Real Estate Group, Inc. It has won several awards for construction and landscaping.
